PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR DISCRIPTION
A production supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating and successfully completing projects. This role combines technical expertise and management skills.
ACTIVITIES
- Communication with design department and sales
- Planning, arranging and coordinating tasks
- Providing insight into project progress
- Translating drawings into products
- Converting and adjusting machines
- Leading and developing skills of team members
- Monitoring and improving efficiency
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Quality control and assessment of products against technical specifications
- Evaluating projects
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
- Minimum MBO/HBO work- and thinking level
- Experience in management in production environment
- Experience in the metal industry with processes such as; sheet metal working, deep drawing, punching, laser cutting, edging, Mig-Mag, Tig and laser welding
- Availability of 40 hours per week
- Team orientation and ability to work well together
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Interest in varied work and methods
- Out of the box thinking
- Dutch and English speaking

You will be working in a company with family atmosphere where hierarchy does not apply. With a team of 15-20 production employees we make products from start to finish.
